Flexible Hybrid Battery Delivery —Where and When You Need It
Green Bean Battery offers a wide selection of hybrid batteries with flexible delivery options to fit your needs. Depending on availability, batteries may be stocked with our installer team, sent to an installer’s storage facility, or shipped directly to you or your preferred repair shop. Customers in hard-to-reach locations or those who need a battery sooner can choose direct-to-door delivery for added convenience. A $175 shipping fee applies to any battery shipped to a customer or repair shop.
Shipping Guidelines (UPS) with Mobile Installation
Our service is an exchange, so our installer will help repackage your old battery to prepare for return. The return instructions are shipped with your battery, please refer to the steps in this document, noting an individual must be present for pickup.
When the battery ships, the return instructions will be included in the tote carrying the hybrid battery, When you receive the battery, attach the prepackaged label over the old label on the ouside of the tote. Then call UPS for a pickup – (888)-742-5877. If they say charges are due, email Greenbeanlogistics@lkqcorp.com for assistance.
Shipping Guidelines (LTL Freight Company) with Mobile Installation
It will usually arrive within 3-5 business days. The carrier will contact you to schedule a 3–5-hour delivery window for which and individual must be present. When you receive the battery, please keep all packaging materials in a cool, dry place. Call (888) 473-7265 and choose 3 for Scheduling or text (919) 551-3066 and our scheduling team will arrange your mobile installation. Tier 3 Installers for Mobile Installation
Only some of our installers can do the more complicated installations. These installers do not cost extra but are the only ones that can do some of our bigger, heavier, newer hybrid batteries.
Shipping Only with Mobile Installation
This designation means the battery must ship to a repair shop or a customer’s house if a Tier 3 installer can do the installation. These batteries often weigh 300 lbs or more and cannot be brought by an installer.
Shipping Only with No Installation
These batteries need to be shipped to a repair shop and installed by the shop. For the Chevrolet Volt, the battery comes out from under the car and it must be up on a lift before removing the hybrid battery.
